1. Scope and acceptance
These terms, the Privacy Notice, Acceptable Use Policy, and AI Supplementary Terms together govern your use of Doco. Do not register for, access, or continue using the service if you disagree with any part.
If you use Doco for another person, team, or organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these rules for that party. Otherwise, use Doco only in your individual capacity.
2. Service, document storage, and changes
Doco provides document editing, knowledge organization, collaboration, import and export, and related API tools. The product is under active development; features, capacity, availability, interfaces, and compatibility may change, pause, or end.
Doco does not provide a custodial, managed-storage, or disaster-recovery commitment and does not take complete responsibility for preserving documents you store. Synchronization, transmission, storage media, network conditions, software defects, third-party services, or user error can make content unavailable, delayed, corrupted, or lost.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, Doco does not promise a particular service level, uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, permanent retention, or recoverability. Maintain independent backups appropriate to the importance of your content and test restoration regularly; do not rely on Doco as the only copy.
3. Accounts and security
Provide accurate account information that can receive notices, and protect your sign-in methods, verification codes, sessions, API tokens, and device permissions. Do not share, sell, rent, or otherwise give unauthorized people access to your account.
If you suspect unauthorized access to an account, token, or content, promptly end relevant sessions, revoke tokens, and contact the operator. You are responsible for activity performed through your account or authorized credentials.
4. Your content and rights
You retain rights you hold in documents, attachments, comments, and other content you submit, create, upload, or connect to Doco. You represent that you have the rights, permissions, and authority needed to process, store, share, and export that content.
To provide the service, you grant Doco a limited license to store, transmit, format, back up, synchronize, and display your content as necessary. This license does not transfer ownership of your content.
5. Sharing, collaboration, and public publishing
You choose sharing scope, collaborator permissions, and public links. Before granting read, comment, edit, copy, or public access, ensure that you are authorized to do so and understand that recipients may save, reshare, or otherwise use content within the permissions you grant.
Do not publish or share unlawful, infringing, deceptive, malicious, privacy-invasive, or confidential content through Doco. A public link does not mean that Doco endorses the linked content.
6. Prohibited conduct
Do not bypass access controls, probe or attack systems, spread malicious code, abuse APIs at scale, scrape non-public content, impersonate others, interfere with the service, or violate law, third-party rights, or these policies.
Do not use Doco for unlawful activity, hate or violence, fraud, harassment, unauthorized data collection, or conduct that can create material risk to people, systems, or the public.
7. APIs and third-party services
API tokens are only for uses you are authorized to perform. Do not expose a token in public repositories, client-side code, or untrusted environments, and do not evade rate, permission, quota, or security controls.
Doco may depend on third-party identity, email, hosting, networking, AI model, or other services. Their availability, terms, and privacy practices are governed by their own rules.
8. Export, suspension, and termination
Doco provides native data export, but export is not a substitute for backup. Before stopping use, during material changes, before sharing important material, or before high-risk edits, create an independent export and verify that the backup is usable and recoverable.
Doco may limit, suspend, or terminate access where there is a reasonable basis to believe that an account, content, or use violates these terms, threatens service security, or requires action by law. Where practical, an explanation will be provided; emergency security action may occur without advance notice.
9. Disclaimers and limitation of responsibility
The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Doco makes no express or implied warranty about the service, content, output, document storage, synchronization, backup, recovery, or third-party services, including accuracy, completeness, availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Hary Smart does not assume complete or unlimited responsibility for lost, corrupted, unsynchronized, unrecoverable, or unauthorizedly accessed documents or attachments, or for resulting indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential loss. This does not exclude liability that applicable law cannot exclude or limit.
Independently assess and review content. Doco’s current AI features are limited to summaries and translation. Their output is not legal, medical, financial, investment, security, compliance, or other professional advice. Seek qualified professional advice for high-risk decisions.
10. Updates and contact
Doco may update these terms for product, security, legal, or operational reasons. Material updates may be presented through a versioned page, renewed confirmation, or another reasonable notice. Continued use is subject to the effective-version notice shown in the service.
